English for You

This 6-week course is fully online and self-paced, designed for beginner English students. If you need to learn English for social, professional, and/or education purposes, this is the course for you!

This course offers students the flexibility of continuing their English studies from anywhere in the world and no matter their schedule.

Upon completing this course, students will be well-equipped to engage with English speakers and perform confidently in their professional environments.

English for You will be offered again the week of June 23. Placement testing will take place the week of June 16. Register today to secure your spot in the course.

Level 1 - Low Beginner

Foundational English course for students who have never studied English before. In this course, students learn the basics such as colors, numbers, and introductory phrases.

Level 2 - High Beginner

This course focuses on situational English. In this course, you will learn how to use English in specific situations such as seeking medical attention and getting a job.

Level 3 - Low Intermediate

This course helps students practice additional situational English contexts. Some sample topics include achieving personal goals, meeting with others (friends, counselors, interviewers), dangerous medical and safety issues, traffic, and other aspects of everyday living.

What is a self-paced course?

In a self-paced course, students work independently with little to no assistance from an instructor. Students have the flexibility of completing their course work on their own time within the 6-week term.

How much does the course cost?

The total cost is $275 USD.

How can I register?

To register, please follow these steps:

1. Complete the registration form.

2. Pay the $25 USD application fee.

Closer to the program start date, you will receive an email with information on how to schedule the placement test.

What are the course dates?

The course will be offered from June 23 to August 1.

Do you offer intermediate and advanced courses?

We currently offer a Low Intermediate course (Level 3) with upper intermediate and more advanced courses under development. Please stay tuned for upcoming announcements of their launch date.

Is there a placement test?

Yes! We want to make sure students get the most out of their online learning experience, so a brief communication placement test will be required. You will receive a link to schedule your test soon after you register.
