Overview

The Intensive English Program is an academic preparation course designed to help international students make the transition to American academic life in a relatively short time through full-time instruction in English as a second language.

The Intensive English Program prepares students for the TOEFL® examination. Students are tested prior to the first day of class. After that and based on their test results, each student is placed in one of eight levels of study.

In each level, students receive grades for written examinations, oral presentations, class participation, and out-of-class work. Usually, after completing Level 6, our students are ready to pass the TOEFL® and enter American universities or professional schools.
